Dr. Steve & Kay Cassell

Steve and Kay began their journey of faith together just out of Forreston High School in northwestern Illinois. Early on, their self-involved lives were interrupted by the goodness and love of God. Steve had run from a call on his life since birth — he died multiple times in his mother's arms as an infant, and from a place of desperation she laid him on a church altar, where God raised him up in health. Though aware of "the Call," Steve let hurt from the church and the pull of the world steal his heart for a time; Kay was on a parallel path, blindly following the world's version of life. Then came the truth.

Through divine appointments and the pursuit of a loving Savior, both were radically saved by a real, experiential knowledge of God's true nature. Still teens, they knew their lives were eternally changed. They eloped, then two years later moved to Fort Worth, where Steve attended a Word of Faith Bible college. Over 14 years in the DFW metroplex they gained deep experience in ministry, business, church government, parenting, and education — alongside hardship, fear, tears, and trials that nearly collapsed their marriage and family. But God. The same grace that found them in the beginning rescued them again, healing and knitting them together in a way few marriages ever experience. The old passed away, and new life began.

From those encounters they committed to go all in — joining Jesus to build His Kingdom in the region of their birth and beyond. They have planted a church, built a discipleship program, opened a home for pregnant teens and babies, and launched many outreaches. They now live in the middle of their Divine Destiny, compelled to help as many people as possible experience the love, grace, and power of their radical Savior.
