Statement of Faith

What We Believe

  1. 01

    One True God

God revealed as the eternally self-existent I AM, Creator and Redeemer, infinitely perfect, wise, and powerful; manifested as Father (Yahweh), Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit.

    Isaiah 43:11; Luke 3:33; Genesis 1:1; John 1:1–4,14; 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19

  2. 02

    The Inspired Scriptures

The whole Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the completed and infallible Word of God, written by men under God's inspiration; the final authority for all faith, doctrine, and conduct.

    2 Timothy 3:15–17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11; Psalm 119

  3. 03

    The Deity of Jesus Christ

Jesus is the eternal, unique Son of God, fully God and truly man; conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived sinless, crucified for all sin for all time, raised on the third day, ascended, and now at the Father's right hand as our High Priest, Mediator, and Advocate.

    Matthew 1:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:6; Hebrews 7:21–8:2; 2 Timothy 2:5–6

  4. 04

Original Sin and the Fall of Man

Created in God's image, man fell through disobedience, bringing sin and death — physical and spiritual — and separation from God. Every person, regardless of behavior, needs salvation.

    John 3:3,16–17; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:11–21; Ephesians 2:1–3; 1 John 3:4

  5. 05

    Salvation by Faith

Through the shed blood of Jesus and His victory over death, we are saved. Believing the Good News makes a person Born Again, receiving a new nature. Salvation and eternal life are a free gift of grace, received by faith in the finished work of Christ — fully restoring the believer to right standing with God.

    Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 6:23; 10:9–10; John 3:3–6; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 1:19; 2:9–10; 2 Peter 1:3–4

  6. 06

    Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The Spirit's baptism glorifies Jesus and empowers believers for life, service, and witness; available to all believers, distinct from and subsequent to salvation, commonly evidenced by speaking in tongues.

    John 7:38–39; Luke 11:13; Acts 1–4; 1 Corinthians 14; Mark 16:17–18

  7. 07

    Divine Healing and Complete Wholeness

Christ's redemption goes beyond forgiveness; His work provides healing, provision, and a sound mind for spirit, soul, and body — an integral part of the Gospel.

    Isaiah 53:4–5; Acts 10:38; 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Galatians 3:13; 2 Corinthians 8:9; 2 Timothy 1:7; 3 John 1:2

  8. 08

The Church / Body of Christ

All believers joined by the Spirit of Christ, sharing one commission of reconciliation, each gifted and called to edify the body and reach the world.

    Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:11–12,16; 2 Corinthians 5:18

  9. 09

    The Sacraments

Water Baptism: believers are immersed to identify with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection — an ordinance, not a means of salvation. Communion: a memorial of Christ's broken body and shed blood, sealing His covenant with us.

    Matthew 28:18; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47–48; Luke 22:17–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–31

  10. 10

    The Second Coming of Christ

One day the whole Body of Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord at His return to consummate His eternal kingdom on a renewed earth.

    1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:41–54; 2 Corinthians 4:14

  11. 11

    The Final Judgment

All will be judged; those in Christ inherit His righteousness and eternal life, while those who reject Him face eternal separation from God.

    Revelation 20–21; Luke 9:43–49; Matthew 12:36

  12. 12

    Sanctification

A finished and progressive work of grace, transforming character and conduct as the believer renews the mind, yields to the Spirit, and follows God's Word.

    1 Corinthians 1:2; Hebrews 9:13; 2 Timothy 2:21; Romans 12:1–2; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5; 5:23

  13. 13

    Sanctity of Human Life

All human life is sacred, made in God's image; we defend and value every life from conception to natural death.

    Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 139:13–18; Proverbs 24:11–12; Matthew 22:39

  14. 14

    Marriage & Gender

Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman for life, reflecting Christ and His Church; God designed sex for marriage and created each person male or female by design. Every person is to be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect, and God offers mercy, forgiveness, and restoration to all who come to Him.

    Ephesians 5:31–32; 6:1–4; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 6:9–11,18–20; Romans 1:26–27; Matthew 19:4–5; Titus 3:2–3; 1 John 1:9; 2 Timothy 2:19,22
